This is an open topic, open genre contest, so you are free to write about anything you want. Drama or comedy, horror or sci-fi, period piece or coming-of-age — whatever moves you, moves us. Just be sure to read the contest rules and guidelines. Happy Writing!

We're looking for a short film screenplay, no more than 15 pages — one page for every minute of screen time. It must be written wholly and exclusively on the Open Screenplay platform.

The winning screenplay takes home a $1,000 USD upfront option fee, a 2-year option agreement, and the chance to see their words become a film.
